ouchy
From an article at IGN on multiplayer play on Endor map: The Rebellion begins by controlling two central spawn locations and one to the far South. The Empire, on the other, more powerful hand, controls the shield generator base (a very defensible permanent spawn location up North), and another small opening to the East where two AT-ST walkers are located. All the Empire has to do is walk around and blow the heck out of anything that moves. The Rebellion is charged with the more difficult task of maintaining strong lines in the face of an overwhelming enemy force. The walkers, while limited by the abundance of trees, are devastating on Endor. They can easily mow down Rebel soldiers and the native Ewoks with little effort. The only way to defeat them is to either concentrate rocket fire (pretty futile), take and hold the spawn point where they appear (very difficult), or lure them into some native log traps (lucky, lucky). Gameplay on Endor is...hectic. The wooded environment, elevated Ewok tree-huts, heavy artillery, and generally close-quartered action in the brush make it a very tense map. If the rebels want to succeed, the best way would be to circumvent the main battle with the use of Speeder Bikes, head North, destroy the shield generator, and then make a desperate push to secure the walker regeneration point to the East.
