Guest chetx1 Posted May 3, 2000 Posted May 3, 2000 The 2.02 patch with it's updated direct 3d sound support made the lasers of ALL craft sound VERY* muffled. Is it just me or does anyone has the same problem. P.S. It's getting VERY* noisy and hence annoying with just 1 star destroyer shooting. I'm using a SB live soundcard
Guest chetx1 Posted May 3, 2000 Posted May 3, 2000 Okay, it appears that now I have to disable 3D sounds with patch 2.02 when the option could work with version 1.00. There appears to be something buggy about the updated direct 3D support. Please confirm with me if any of u have similar problems with patch 2.02
Guest garyah99 Posted May 3, 2000 Posted May 3, 2000 Nope, no problems at all. I used a SB awe 64 sound card and am currently using an Aureal Vortex II with 3D sound and both cards worked perfectly! ------------------ Every time I think I've found the end of the rainbow...I trip over it.
