Did you know that there is a project in Germany (also English version) which works on a fan Adventure placed in the world of Monkey Island? Here is our Homepage welcome-text: This is about a brand new fan adventure which is under development right now, but has already progressed, so the risk of this project being cancelled is quite low and we hope to present a demo in the near future. With "The Adventures of Sherman Toothrot“ we tried to do this project open source from the first beginning. The idea behind that was to give everyone the chance of being involved in the development and there were no special teams and the datasource was open for everyone. This leaded to an information overflow which frightened and confused potential helpers and only longtime users made it to have an overview. This is why we decided to go a different way: The longtime developers have formed development teams. The message boards got divided in an open and some closed threads. In the open areas everybody can still present their ideas. The closed section is for the teams to argue things and improve the details. People interested in joining the team will receive an introduction to story, riddles, and dialogues and furthermore a summary of project elements that still need attention and development.
