kingguru
Using the updated tools I decided to get busy and change some things to the way I wanted Endor to look and play. I will work on the mod until the results I want are complete or more tools are made but for now : Winter has come to Endor, Ive played with making it snow all the time but for now You will see in screenshots , Endor is beautiful in the wintertime. Watch out for those Storm Troopers! Skins for Sniper Rebel Units have been replaced with Wood/Snow Hunter Outfits. The Sniper now appears as a dark eyed bush with snow spots. If one hides in the snow as Imperial or Bush/Wood as a rebel sniper the map takes on a whole nice camping snipe scene. Vehicle Changes: Imperial Fightertankers are now on Endor as backup to whomever owns the middle base on Endor! If you capture this base you will spawn a very powerful FighterHoverCraft!!! 3 AT-ST will spawn for the Imperial Faction Once those are destroyed the Rebels will receive 1 At-ST spawn at each of their spawn points randomly as each Imperial Faction AT-ST is destroyed (once limits are removed on amounts of vehicles every spawn point will spawn an AT-ST. More coming with download in the next few days/hours. Chilling Beauty! Dont slip on the ice. Relocated At-ST Spawn. Zooming through the logs, before the new bushman skins for rebels. "Hey Rebels", look closely and you will see bullets coming from the snow!!!! Or is it the enemy....? Attacking the Icy Bunker.Brrrrr.. Zoooom.........shows one of our little yellow ewok Own this and you Pwn your foes! New Bunker added, not winter here yet.. Brethren Trooper after hot cocoa! Mmmm! Gerardo
You should add some more snow to the ground, and perhaps some snow on the tree branches. Great job though. Is it possible to have snow falling on this map?
kingguru
Endor Winter Update: It is night in Endor. It is constantly snowing 4 sizes of snowflakes. Things downloadable in a Winter Skin Pack : Trees and bushes have been updated with snow fall on them. 50% of the rebel skins have been redone to show snow/woods appearance textures. Giving the ewoks darker fur on same skin with some 50 ewoks having snow effects on them. Map changes Spawn times on all Vehicles are now set to instant. The second a vehicle is destroyed its replacement spawns at the nearest command post spawn. I will post pics once Im happy with all the results... will post the download with code on how to do it yourself within a few days.

kingguru
Im doing the most I can on skins, then there will be more work on editing the mission.lvl to have other vehicles and some more goodies. Ive learned a few more tricks before making this map available .... one reason things have slowed is there is no way currently , not even bcompiler , to get dxt3 and certain other rgb above 32 back into the game with out hexediting each individual tex_ layer (which takes literally 20 minutes a chunk at times) Its just a massive thing to convert all trees, bushes, limbs, and all kinds of files that arent standard skin sizew like the 512x512 unit skins. It will be out before the new offcial maps for sure
