Perfect Xp Installation!! Easy As Pie

C:\Windows\System32\AUTOEXEC.nt is not a siutable application for running MSDOS or Microsoft Windows programs, Select Close to terminate the application.

 

 

FOr all u XP users out there that love this game but cant istall it I HAVE AN ANSWER. I was trying for 2 weeks to try and install this game on xp, the message above kept appearing whenever i tried to install.

 

i followed all the prompts on these forums but none of them worked, if this is the case for you follow my prompt, i found this site while browsing google. (ahhh google, is there anything you cant do?) anyways, this a a page where you can actually download a new autoexec.nt program. i downloaded this and it installed smoothly, b ut you will also need the patch, just search around for that cos i dont have the link

tried to acccess link because i am having those same problems. cant install. jumped for joy when i saw your post but cant access that site. link does not work. help!!!!!!!1:bdroid2:

Just go to your Windows folder.

You'll find the folder REPAIR.

In there you'll find the file called autoexec.nt.

Copy it.

Now go into the folder of Windows called System32 and paste inthere. Make the file read-only and hidden.

Now everything should work fine.

At least it worked for me.

I'd just like to say thanks for the fandango fix. Worked a treat cheers guys, is that patch worth getting cuz it runs fine on my computer now???

when i go into my windows folder and then into the rapair folder thers nothing there exept from a file named system.bak

what should i do?...or what can i do?

This fix you mention, with the replacement for the autoexec.nt file, does it affect game play or is it just to get the installer working?

thank you. your advice worked a treat. my girlfriend recommended game. bought game on ebay then bashed my head against a brickwall as i couldn't install it.went to many websites, including lucas and had no joy. this advice was simple and worked.
