Difficulty Settings

I could not find info on this. Does the difficulty setting effect the ammount of experience points that you get in battle? Basically, I am wondering what the highest possible level there is to obtain, and how is the best method to get there.

Someone once mentioned that the difficulty setting does alter the amount of XP, however I don't know if this is entirely true. For instance, while taking advantage of the XP glitch on Korriban, I noticed that there does not seem to be a change in the amount of XP you gain for killing th Hississ (or however you spell that).

 

OE created stats for up to level 50, however based on 2 play throughs, it appears that the highest you get in a game (without cheating) is in the high 20's/low 30's.

 

My first playthrough I got to level 29. I think I'm on track to get to level 30 this time, but in both games I did take advantage of the aforementioned XP glitch on Korriban
