XWA-Blue Screen Errors

Every time I start up XWA it says this:

"A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:00000013. The current application will be terminated.

*Press CTRL+ALT+DEL again to restart your computer.

This is not XWAU related. I reinstall XWA and i works fine. I apply the 2.02 patch, it gives me blue screen error. I redownloaded the 2.02 patch, in case it got corrputed and it still doesn't work. I ran a scandisk, and defreagmented my computer. Didn't work. Any help please?

 

PS: Don't ask me to format my comp. I don't want to at this given time. I don't know how it will react with my onboard video, and a GeForce2. Plus the fact that I'm not going to redownload a lot of things on 56k.

Your XWA cd either needs repairing or cleaning. I got the same message with Disc 2. I cleaned it and I didn't get the error anymore.

No, it likes to run Version 1. I can play version one of the game. I found version 2.01 on this website and it works. But i can't install version 2.02. It gives me bluescreen errors when I install 2.02.

What if it does something like that when you load a mission with hardware?

Gads, there used to be a good answer to the 2.02 version crash, and for the life of me, I can't remember what it was
