Is there a way to remove the goofy effects that you seen when you use a combat feat? I'd like to get of the yellow blob when you use power hit, the stupid orange blobs that show up when you use flurry, the purple/white lines around stunned/disabled nps, etc... Is this even possible? Anyhow, here's one for TSL: http://www.gknetworks.net/kotor/NoCombatFeatVFX.zip Unzip that into your override and it SHOULD work. Let me know if there are any problems. jeffreyLebowski Posted February 19, 2005 Author Share Posted February 19, 2005 wow, much thanks! i'll give it a try right now. sorry about the bump. i'll check darth333's site, but even if i can't find the one for KOTOR1, i assume the changes are fairly similar to what you did for TSL? edit - oh, it works. combat looks so much better now. i never could stand those bizarre glows and stuff. as if swinging around a lightsaber wasn't cool looking enough to begin with. thanks! What are the possibilities of releasing another one which removes both feat vfx and force vfx(except for force lighting obviously)? actually, if you take a look at the 2da file in kotor tool, you'll see that all the feat and force power (among other things) effects are all controlled by this same file. just blank out the ones you don't like. i toyed with it, but i ended up removed some ones i shouldn't have and reverted back to the original file. man, combat looks SO much better without all those ridiculous glows and whatnot.
