JCDenton
Hey, think I found a small bug Xcom. On miras explosive rockets (which are awsome now) the splash damage seems to remain unaffected by the skill level while the impact dmg scales up like it should. I would imagine this is because the rockets vary in base damage, 10 to the impact meatbag, 24 to the surrounding meatbags. (Which doesnt really make sence, you wouldn't want to be near the rocket at all, but would you rather take one in the chest, or be standing next to a guy who did? So... I think the splash should be a bit less in base dmg) Other than that it's pretty sweet, my Mira is running around launching 100 + dmg burster rockets and 80ish RPG's from that wrist of hers :-p (I didnt realize that she launched grenades from that thing too, guaranteed grenade hit = I love Mira)

By default, the secondary damage was greater than the primary damage. I thought that didn't make sense. So I modified only primary damage to take demolitions skill into account. This eventually results in damage for primary target being way bigger (unless your demolition skill is near zero). Don't you agree?
JCDenton
Yeah, I understand what you mean, although 24 damage might be a little bit on the weak side? Regardless, after playing around with it some more it seems that if you launch an explosive rocket and it hits MORE than one target, the rocket does 24 damage and ONLY 24 damage to each target (including the impact meatbag) The main target doesnt get that nice skill enhanced dmg. However, if you launch it against a lone target they take the skill enhanced damage with an additional 24 stacked on top. Also, the damage done by mines doesn't seem to be displaying, I can't really tell if the dmg has been enhanced or not :-/

That's very strange. It should get bonus damage. That's in the code. Could it be that your main meatbag made a DC save (and hence got no main damage), and only got splash damage. Splash damage can't be avoided by a DC save.
JCDenton
Yeah, perhaps you're right Xcom, but they seem to be saving an inordinate amount given her high demo skill. Oh well, her bursters can still level anything in a few hits Any headway on tuning the mine damage?
Xcom
JC, from what I understand mines are already affected by your demolition skill, although perhaps not sufficiently. Unfortunately, I am currently very busy with other misc. projects to divert my attention to them.
JCDenton
That's cool Xcom, buuut... I took a peek at those nss files using KOTOR tool, doesn't seem to be rocket science. After I'm done editing my pumped frag mines, do I just save the new nss file and shove it into override? Or is there something else that needs to be done? JCDenton
Easier Than I thought. Although now my mines are grossly over-powered , Tee - hee. My new deadly and unbelievably destructive Sith Assasin have the folks at Holowan to thank for making such easy - to - use tutorials
