Guest colpoy
I am suffering from the common plague of being kicked out of my X-Wing Alliance mission to the desktop at seemingly random moments. I have closed (not disabled) all resident (taskbar) programs before playing the game. I have also tried all sorts of video/sound settings, but to no avail. Hopefully someone here can give me more suggestions on what to do. Here's some details on my system... L6 mainboard Pentium II 333Mhz overclocked at 375Mhz. Soundblaster AWE64 sound card Voodoo 3-2000 AGP video card Propad Digital 8 gamepad (not too handy for this game!) Running Windows98 Second Edition If you need any other info, let me know! Thanks for your help, Chris
Guest ViRGE
Try bringing your CPU back down to 333mhz, as it seems the overclocking is your most likely cause of the crashes.
