Compatibility

First off thanks to everyone here for all your awesome work with KOTOR and TSL, the stuff you guys put out is amazing.

 

I personally am not a modder or anything like it, just use as much as i can from your mods.

 

So here is my request, I found mrclopes full item creation mod to be super, its found here:

And i noticed Redhawke and envida and others are making their mods compatible to each others, speaking specifically about the workbench creation stuff, and i was hoping you guys could include your compatibility to encompass this, its a great mod to basically "cheat at your own pace" make lightsabers as you want, create the good handguns for the few range fighters we got etc. It would be merging the upgradeitems and upgradeitemsmira files with the ones from mrclopes mod.

 

Just a hope and a suggestion, appreciate anything you can do, again, thanks to you all, keep up the awesome work.

I think those options have already been considered by the mods' respective authors but it's a really easy thing to do if you really want things to be compatible, it's more or less all just copy pasting.

VernoOiale, welcome to the forums.

 

While many authors bend over backwards to try make their mods compatible with each other for the benefit of users, the user must assume some degree of responsibility for making their favorite incompatible mods compatible. That said, it is usually a fairly simple matter of copying and pasting rows of 2da files and possibly changing some .uti values with a GFF Editor. This forum is happy to provide answers you may have in regarding the steps involved with specific mods. For requests such as this, please use the Mod Request Thread.
