MyPonyJim Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 In KotoR I, I always leveled up to 5, then waited until my character became a jedi before I leveled up further so I could use more of my points in the Jedi powers. Has anyone done anything similar in KotoR II? Leveling up to a certain level then saving up points until you reach the prestige class? Is it even possible or do you have to hit a certain level to even -become- a prestige class? I've played through the game a few times and I'd like to be able to use more of my points as a prestige level jedi. Tips or suggestions, anyone?
Derc Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 To even become a Prestige class, you need to be at least level 15. Even then, it's pointless to remain as your starting class when you can become something more powerful. Your party members, on the other hand.... Some people prefer to hold a few back, while others prefer to take them to the next stage immediately. It depends on the character.
nas77 Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 ^^for example if I'm planning on training one of the NPCs to be a Jedi, I won't level them up until they become a Jedi, so that I can spend more points on their Force powers and other Jedi feats.
silkshadow Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Since my first playthrough I don't level anyone who I plan on turning jedi. Though the fight with Hanharr becomes tough doing light side.
