Mav Posted April 2, 2005 Share Posted April 2, 2005 ummm I hate to be "mean", but I'm in a bad mood right now so forgive me, but if you would actually read the file that says "OfficialReadme" as its filename, you would know that the .2da files that came packed with Prestige Item Pack that RedHawke and I made is already compatible with RedHawke's Exile Item pack. You see, I personally made the mods compatible as to be convient for everyone to use and to not have threads such as this that clutter up the forum because someone who is too lazy to read the file that says "read me" wants something done for him/her. again I'm sorry, but you caught me in a poor mood Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lamorak Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 The question I have that is related to this problem is this: I have the following mods: The Prestige Item Pack Redhawke's Exile Item Pack Darkkender's Guardian Saber Mod (As well his other one that was with it.. I could not find the mod all by its lonesome) Envida's Complete Mod RedHawke's Robe Mod The issue that comes up is... What order should I install them, and if I have to merg anything, what? I noticed that when I just posted them all into the override folder they removed your blade coloring from the game. When I used KMM, I was getting issues where they were not Compatitable. (Spell check.) Any help on the topic would be great. If I have to install all the files and then add the prestige one last, that would make it easy. Do know.. Mav Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 Actually I would recommend installing the Prestige Pack last, I believe it was made last so it should have all of the others in it's compatibilities, just read the file that says "readme" heck it's asking to be read. Lamorak Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 Never mind. I let it sit for like.. 40 seconds and then it continued. The amount of items that was given to me, slowed the game down some. Thx for the help. Now off to enjoy these great mods. I have read all of the read me files. Most of them are just basic information on how to install them... The one issue that is comming to mind is I just dont know what order to install them in. I think.. that look at all the last edited dates and go from there, if that is what it takes. And thats probly the most logical thing to do. Everything seems to work fine, Im still in the beginning, save for one thing. I freeze/crash when I open the box for the items in the Exile's Item Pack. (Im in the space ship outside of the astroid. I have played though and beaten the game, now im going though again but going Dark jedi now. I want to get all the quests that I missed from going good.) I do not know if prestige or complete mod (As these are the only two with the same 2da files as this mod) is messing with my game. I have sent a PM to RedHawke letting him know of the problem. Just in case it has happened before, or if maybe I'm not that bright, and I am in needing of help. (Probly the later one.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
