Problems with language versions

Hello,

 

I'm reading many posts from this forum for a long time ago and download many mods from pcgamemods, but I'd never participated.

 

Now I have a question that I can’t resolve myself... Many mods containing dlg files that I download don't work with my French version of TSL (well… I'm not English if you didn't understand yet ).

When new dialogues have to appear in the game I don’t have subtitles, so I can't choose propositions. Normally I don't mind and choose the first one and see what append but this time I downloaded "Recruit Yuthura" mod and I don't understand what she wants and says.

 

Please help me!!! What can I do to make it compatible with my French version? When opening files with kotor tool I have a fatal error....

Sounds like a localization problem, where the mods you've downloaded only have set text for the english locale.

 

Go to this tools page and download the tool "Language Converter for Custom Dialogs and Item Descriptions". It should probably help you fix the problem.

Thank you very much, it works !! I didn't think that it could be so easy to fix. Now I've just to translate all the files....
