XWA Win2K SP2 compatibility problems!

I recently updated my win 98 computer with windows 2000, my copy of XWA worked just fine, until i installed SP2 for windows WITHOUT the backup function if i wanted to remove the service pack, to my surprise, the "Analyze your computer" option in the XWA autolauncher displays that no Win95/98/NT was not found, can anyone help me? you are my only hope...
