Description:

The skinny; This mod is meant to make your replay of JK2 SinglePlayer more ejoyable, it features;

- jka models in jko

- mock double bladed saber for desann

- cool stuff

Install:

=======

1. Extract the content of this file into your GAMEDATA folder.

2. This mod will modify your JK2Config.cfg file, to allow for orange saber color, if you wish to make a backup of your original JK2Config file, do it before you run jk2.

3. If your keyboard configuration is not standard you may need to edit the autoexec.cfg file this mod has placed into your base folder.

autoexec.cfg excepts the following binds;

1 bound to selecting your saber

Q, mousewheelup bound to next weapon

R, mousewheeldown bound to previous weapon

if you like your binds different, edit the autoexec file, for a keyname reference, see http://www.planetquake.com/thebind/bindlist.shtml

4. Run jk2sp.exe singleplayer, go to "setup", "mods" and load the darkness mod

5. If everything is ok, your menu should look rather orangy, now, start a new game and have fun

Customize:

Since I like customization, files have been grouped in different packages in the darkness folder

- opt/Darkness_rancor.pk3 Move this package over to the darkness folder to have buggy Rancors in yavin_swamp, otherwise, you will have howlers

- Darkness_blaster.pk3 this files modifies the imperial blaster and e-11 blaster to an e-11 blaster with the stock unfolded

- Darkness_characters.pk3 contains the skins/models/mutilation mod

- Darkness_Desannsaber.pk3 mock double bladed saber for desann

- Darkness_dl-44.pk3 replaces the bryar with the jka dl-44

- Darkness_Fire.pk3 modifies fire rate of e-11, bryar, ammo type for disruptor and ammo amounts

- Darkness_kyle.pk3 modifies Kyle into cool Mercenary Kyle

- Darkness_kylesaber.pk3 modifies Kyle's saber into the cool Bryar saber

- Darkness_lightning.pk3 modifies force-lightning into red lightning

- Darkness_maps.pk3 modifies map hacks and scripting (force powers, weaponry, boss battles)

- Darkness_menu.pk3 modifies the menu into an orange menu

- Darkness_sabercolors.pk3 modifies purple saber into white-ish, modifies purple an red sabers into exar-kunny style
