How do I get the Single Player mods to work?

I downloaded The Mainframe 2.0 and put the pk3 file into gamedata\Mainframe 2.0 and then launched the game. I went to mods and there was nothing there, I also tried it with just having the file in my gamedata folder. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

wut i did was put it in the gamedata/base directory folder and then open it up.
