Ancharos
The mod I'm working on recuires alot dialog editing. Since this is my first mod the requires Dialog editing, if got a few questions that i can't find the answer's for. BTW im using the kotor tool dialog editor. 1. How do you link back to the first opton in a dialog? For example when canderous gives you an implant, after it goes back to the orginanal questions you can ask to him? 2.Where, In the kotor tool, can I find the None-party member dialog files? For example, where can i find Master vrook dialog file on datooine that says that Juhani is joining your party? 3. Is there a list of lipsyncs out there i could use as a lookup? Or, where can i find the dialog lypsync files in the kotor tool? 4. Is there a list of dialog sounds i can use as a dialog? Or where can i find the dialog voicovers in kotor tool? ( I already found a few voiceovers, but not all.) And one non-dialog related question: If I removed the Attack script from an npc's .Utc file, would the not be able to attack? rgdelta
#1 depending on the tool if you are using Kotor Tool Conversation editor right click on the saying you want to link back and say copy then right click on where you want the link at and select link. If you are using dialog editor 221 it is similar except you do paste as copy. #2 in RIMS in Modules expand the module name like for vrook it is danm13aa_s.rim and then expand dialog and vrooks will be dan13_vrook.dlg all none party is in the module that the char appears in. #3 lip synchs are located your kotor directory in the folder named lips you copy the .mod file you want to your modules directory and you can open it with kotor tools (under erf's) see this tutorial for more info http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=126746
