cry_of_paine Posted August 23, 2005 Share Posted August 23, 2005 Ok, I got my Luxa mod to work finally, and she's now part of the group (the strong silent type appearently - although she does growl at times). Well, I ran into a little problem. I put her in Hanrar's spot (hence the growling), not realizing that he shared the spot with Mira. So now, I can't use either of them. I think though that I can create a mod that will allow standby party members. But I'm not sure exactly how to do it. First, is it possible to keep more than the alloted party members on board the ship? Second, is it possible to feed a variable value to a script from a dialog? What I'm looking for is something like the dialog you have when you're going to rescue the exile from Goto's ship. It asks who do you want to bring along. This would be who do you want to replace. I'm hoping that I don't have to code a different script for each npc. Third, is it possible to access variables from the save files (not the globals)directly? Actually I think I can do what I want by setting the character as unselectable like Kreia on Korriban. I know there's a thread for that, so I'll have to try that.
