Guest TK421
Does anybody know the cause, or more importantly the remedy, that makes faces dissapear when the Opt viewed from low-angles. Here's the pics. Also the rear angled side faces of the 'hump' dissapear when viewed at very low angle (when they're just about to go out of sight as you move underneath the Opt) I've tried reseting the default textures, faces, vertices. I've also tried stitching but but I think it's a face problem not a texture problem. Can someone please help shed some light on this phenomenae? -- I should add that the lower hull works almost 100% fine (the upper hull is dark grey one you see), but one section does dissapear when viewed at extremely low angle (all you'd be able to see is a tiny sliver of grey). ------------------ "No no son, you gotta hit 'em in the head so they stay down, like this! *WHACK*" TK's OPT Factory [This message has been edited by TK421 (edited October 05, 2000).]
Guest Zedran
hey, cool opt. When I made My own DXF from Rhino some of the faces didnt show up as well ..............I believe Andy Kroell's site says that when editing shape be sure that if you move ,bend, or whatever that you do so by point editing, rather than by dragging etc... Go to his site if you havent already. http://www.kroell-net.de/opt/opt_xwa.htm Zed. ------------------ When last we met I was but the apprentice,.."Now I am the Disaster" Click,Click,Click,......Damn Light Saber!.....AAAAAUUUUGGGHHH.........
