Guest Raz Zaphon
The Rebel Squadrons. http://www.rebelsquadrons.org/ _____________________________________________ Mission Statement: The Rebel Squadrons (RS) is an on-line club centered on the Star Wars universe and dedicated first and foremost to rewarding and fun experience for all of its members. The Rebel Squadrons also strives to cultivate creativity, excellence, leadership amongst its members, in a manner consistent with ideals of the New Republic it is pledged to defend. To accomplish these goals, the members of the Rebel Squadrons must base all of their actions on the principle of H.I.E.R. ("higher"): Honor, Integrity, Equanimity, and Respect. It is intended that each member have the opportunity to be able, if they so choose, to advance through the ranks to the limits of their leadership capabilities, and that all members be allowed freedom of choosing the extent to which they will, or won't actively participate. _____________________________________________ With that, The Rebel Squadrons is a Sector Fleet which plays but is not limited to most of Lucas Arts Star Wars games. These include: X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, Rebellion, X-Wing Alliance and soon Force Commander. Most of these games have a sub fleet. On top of that, we also do Star Wars writing and Role playing. We don't use things like The Zone, for multiplayer games we set up our matches through TCP/IP via setting up the matches on Undernet, an Internet Relay Chat server. We have an Academy that you go through to learn to participate in the Fleets activities to which the game belongs, which includes Multiplayer matches and Interactive Tours of Duty (single player missions). If your interested in joining, please, visit our website and stop by in our chat room, #rs_bar_and_grill on an Undernet server with an IRC program like mIRC.
