I can't find where it will copy the required files for me and run my CMI from the hard drive. ....and whenever I run it, 'it says CMI registry keys not found. You need to reinstall CMI. The launcher will not function correctly until you restore the registry values.' So how can I install it if it doesn't even let me run it correctly. blc43519 Posted March 15, 2006 Author Share Posted March 15, 2006 I have the cd so it's being a piece of ****. And whenever I try to click on 'run cmi from hard drive' from the launcher. It says 'unable to open key "SOFTWARE\Lucasarts Entertainment Company\Curse of Monkey Island\v1.0" for read. so basically this program and scummvm are being pieces of ****s. and scummvm will run, but when I click go to play it, it doesn't respond. I'm pissed off cuz it's just frustrating me that I can't make it work correctly!!! ALL I want is to run CMI on my windows xp, without any errors, and fullscreen. is that too much too ask?
