After a long time, reinstalled... but can't play in any server, because of the mods!

Hey guys,

as I said, I just reinstalled my game, and really am looking foward to play online. But every game I try to join, I have to either download a pack, or a map. Could you guys tell me what are the most popular maps and mods, so I can download them all, and not have to wait ingame (which is definetly not fun)?

Huh? There really aren't many things you need to download, minus the patch. Other than that, most mods are server side, meaning you don't need to download them. Also, default JKA maps are names mp/ffa1 or mp/ffa2 etc...
