TheMitten9 Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 I've spent a good two hours on this and I just can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I followed the tutorial (thanks for it, btw!) and it was pretty easy, but two parts won't work. The short version of my problem is: I talk to my custom npc and I get the updated journal message (this is the 1st entry for this quest). In the game, the quest title on the left displays properly, but the quest description on the right is blank. Also, after the conversation I am supposed to get party XP, but that is not happening. I just cant figure out what I am doing wrong. In my dialog file, under the reply entry I chose to create/update the journal I put the proper quest name in the Quest field. I know this is right because the quest does get added to my journal. My QuestEntry field is 1. The PlotXPPercentage is 1. In the global.jrl file, my quest is under category 117. Then, under EntryList, 0, the ID I put is 1. So that should match the .dlg correctly. In that same category, under Text [CExoLocString], my strref is -1, language is 0, gender is blank, and I put 1 sentence in the large box below. The XP_Percentage [FLOAT] is set a .5000000000000 I would have just posted my files, but I don't know how to do that, hehe.
