Darthdude99
(for TSL) Ok want I want to do is use the Vader model hilt from J3d1W4rr10r Movie Saber Pack and use its model to replace the standard blue lightsaber hilt while keeping the same color blade. But it doesn't work. When I change the model I get the right hilt (vader's hilt over standard blue hilt) but the blade color is red, not blue. Here's what I did: 1. Converted standard blue hilt to ascii.mdl 2. Open up replacer function 3. Select Vader hilt (w_lghtsbr_094.mdl) for binary 4. Select standard Blue hilt (w_lghtsbr_001-ascii.mdl) for ascii 5. Change base model name to w_Lghtsbr_002 to w_lghtsbr_001 6. Click on lshandle06 7. Hit "Do It" 8. Go into folder and change .mdl and .mdx names to w_lghtsbr_001 9. Copy and paste into Override 10. Select blue saber in-game, flurish weapon, and watch the vader hilt under blue saber icon produce a red blade. I dont know what to do. Please Help. (please be specific still a noob)
svösh
w_Lghtsbr_002 = red blade on the default not sure about the mod saber you used but.. Use w_Lghtsbr_001 to rig with. Or use the renamer function on mdlops to change the blades planes texture name from red to blue or whatever the blade .tga’s names are. svösh
