I believe I experienced a pretty cool effect in a saber battle and want to do it again but don't know how. I was in the Vjun castle (a kind of big hall, right after parting with Kyle). You cleared the hall, then go through a door, then there are two reborns (? those losers in brown). I THINK in fighting with them I chopped off a hand of one of them, and the guy crumbled clutching the rest of his arm with another, yielling something. Has anyone seen anything like that? FYI I don't use cheats (I can't bring up the console, for some reason). It was very cool and it'd be great if there's a sure way to do this. Thanx.
Kurgan Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 You don't need cheats to get dismemberment, but you do need to change your settings to see FULL dismemberment in Single and Multiplayer. By default, with dismemberment "on" in the settings you'll only see the occasional hand or arm cut off in SP. Read all about dismemberment here.

For those Mac newbies like me, you have to rewrite Library/Application Support/Jedi Academy/jaconfig.cfg (type in those lines DarkLoad60 talked about: http://www.lucasforums.com/showpost.php?p=1432569&postcount=22 Will this method be equally valid for other cheats? I'll look into that...
