shaded6
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palpatine Dark Lord of the Sith: biggest political accomplishment of the Sith Order and brilliant. Darth Sidious hid himself from the Jedi for years, not being known where he was, or if it was even him who was the Sith Lord, he made his way up through the influence of his own intelligence and persuasion of what he wanted, not what was best. this is the way of the Sith. “The dark side clouds everything. Impossible to see the future is.” Master Yoda how did Darth Sidious hide himself for this long and longer? what was his understanding to sense things farther and not be sensed from being just as far? within 25 years he had 3 apprentices, who he trained as some purpose for himself, reguardless of what the apprentices learned in the process. if a man has such a great knowledge of the dark side of the force and uses his apprentices for his gain, do the apprentice lose that original teaching and not still become Sith and part of Darth Sidious' plan? eventually Darth Sidious was a counter part in full control of the Republic, well, the Empire and not the rebellion, but that didnt mean he didnt still have power over most of the systems. a purely evil person. he had flaws, ofcourse, a lot of Sith do, because they have the wrong focus, now i wonder why they hated the Jedi so much. but Darth Sidious worked himself up in the chain of command to control everything the galaxy had been accustomed to. "once more the Sith will rule the galaxy and we shall have peace." why is it that, this peace drove the rebellion, its obvious, because he is a Sith Lord, in control over the populace and people in the galaxy and threatened to destroy everything. a big Sith tradition is to be in total control, even if they themselves are not in control of themselves. they may think they are, but are they if they let something consume everything about them? "Be careful of the Jedi, Anakin. Only through me can you achieve a power greater than any Jedi. Learn the Dark Side of the Force and you will save your wife from certain death." Darth Sidious his compulsion to convert anakin wasnt vain i dont think, his methods were lies and ignorant though. anakin didnt have to be involved with what Sidious was offering, but because he did offer it, it was possible. when anakin lost padme, this offering was made vain and pointless because the goal could never be reached again. Sidious knew what he was doing and what he wanted, i could imagine that this is how he has always been and by the way Sidious continually pressed the point that there was more power on the dark side, it shows his ignorance towards that he was jeprodizing his goal to be in complete control of the Republic, especially when he knew that anakin told him he was going to report Palpetine to the Jedi counsel. we cant say that it was definate Sidious had to win the fight, he did, but only by the hand of desperation in anakin skywalker to be who he wanted to become. Darth Vader probably lived longer then any other apprentice of Sidious for his personal connection towards anakin and their desire for the same goals: system control. Sidious was inconsiderate towards Vader near the end of his death, when he met luke, anakins son: the last known Jedi to be. after the thought of complete control, of both the galaxy and the Jedi, Sidious was killed...and Darth Vader was redeemed. Darth Sidious was probably the first master mind to master his beliefs and his goals for total domination, so brilliant, that he succeeded. though, he was completely evil, and you could see that and feel that, Sidious had some sense within himself of what it meant to be the Sith, his understanding from his teacher, Darth Plagueis, and his own personal experience in the dark side of the force gained him respect from all the senate without them even knowing who he truely was, even the Jedi. and because he had such a great understanding of politics, he could influence anyone who would give him the ear. why do you think he became inraged when Mace Windu came to arrest him? he was threatened. why is it most Sith kill their old Masters? because now they know for themselves that they are in control of what they want to do, for themselves. and probably many more reasons. but when the end came of the Empire and the Sith were destroyed, for the time being, Palpetines original teachings were lost with him. he lost himself within himself and his power, as most Sith do, and this brings forth the Truth in the dark side of the force. seth
