TotalBiscuit Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Guys seriously, chill out and put the fanboism away for a moment. It's ok to be a fan of a game but deal with the criticism like adults. Most of IGN's points are pretty valid. Ground combat is not great, space combat is not exactly the most strategic affair around and the biggest thing it's got going for it is that it is an authentic Star Wars experience. I'm sad to say that Rebellion (or Supremacy) had more strategic depth than this. Empire at War is light in the strategy department and does disappoint in some areas. Still a great game, but not God's gift to the world as some will make it out to be. TB.
Elukka Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 They do make valid points. But the graphics just aren't like what they have in their newer screens. Oh, and an Atari computer: http://www.publiceye.org/gallery/Amnet/Atari.jpg
