Admiral Zaarin Posted April 21, 2001 Posted April 21, 2001 I'm a semi-fan, but unfortunately the series has been going downhill ever since the end of the David trilogy in book 22. One of its greatest strengths was that it was unbelievable, yet believable, but now the author's trying to do too much with it. I'm reading about 45 now, and I'm considering not even bothering with the rest. And the TV show was an insult to the word 'TV'.
Guest Redwing Posted April 21, 2001 Posted April 21, 2001 Just skim the ones in between, as there were an odd mix of duds and really interesting ones I just finished the most recent one and now everything's up in the air and there's no way I'm not gonna read the next one! BTW, if you've played XWA you'll recognize the Star Wars techno-speak in the last one (transferring energy from engines to Dracon cannons? etc etc) ------------------ At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi.
