Perp Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 My copy (collector's edition) read my Nvidia 6800 and defaulted my monitor to 75mhz!!!! Its an easy thing to fix, but took a while of experimenting to do it- first alt tab back to your desktop, then change your screen size down from 1024x768 to 640x480. For some reason this will allow you to see the game normally... Then adjust the ingame video settings to any screen size but make sure you are selecting 60mhz! All USA monitors are defaulted to 60mhz, and I can only guess that we got the CD for Europe? Or maybe they are reading the Nvidia 6800 cards and applying default European settings for them? Who knows, all I know is when I did the above it finally worked. Talk about frustration on the opening day!!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
