How to- EAW

Hi heard many people on forums asking how to change reinforcement cap on land battles and thought i would tell you guys how to do it.

 

So here we go:

REINFORCEMENTS-LAND

Open the FACTIONS.XML by right clicking and selecting. Open with and then note book.

Now you have all the codes and sh*t that makes the game

 

So... Now press Ctrl and F on the keyboard. This will bring up the search tool.

Search for <Land_Skirmish_Unit_Cap_By_Player_Count> Underneath this you will have a list of 3 numbers:

0,10

1,10

8,5

And the second number the ones arfter 0,1 and 8 is what the pop cap is. So change it to what ever you want!! But change it on all 3.

So thats it.

 

P.S- VERY IMPORTANT!! In the FACTIONS.XML folder it contains data fpr Rebels and Empire. When you search for <Land_Skirmish_Unit_Cap_By_Player_Count> it will bring it to the nearest one, Which will be the rebels. So after changin it the first time. Pres trl f again and search for <Land_Skirmish_Unit_Cap_By_Player_Count> again. It will bring you to the rebel on again, So click find next again as this will bring you to the next on. Which is Empire so change that one aswell.

 

REINFORCEMENTS-SPACE

 

Open the file FACTIONS.XML

And search using Ctrl F for <Space_Tactical_Unit_Cap>25</Space_Tactical_Unit_Cap> now the number 25 is the space cap at the moment (for rebels) So just change it to what ever you want.
