The game's physics are still the same but you can fly different ships, from small fighters to large versions of the Dreadnaught from the first game. You no longer have different "stations" to work through, everything is controlled through a HUD. The graphics are really good and I enjoy playing the Instant Action game a lot. The game's script is looser than the original I-War game. I've been wandering around, pirating shipping lanes for a while now without tripping over a plot point.
