wrist bug fix?

Does anybody else get the graphics glitch that a weapon is no longer held in hand, but looks like it grows out of a character's wrist? I'm not 100% percent sure, but it seems to be tied to equipping field survival pistols, and others that use the same model. But once it is triggered, all weapons are being held incorrectly. Is there a way to fix this?

First, welcome to the Forums! Hope you enjoy your stay here. I have never heard of that problem, so I could not recommend a way to fix it after it happens. I would try going back to a saved game from before you first equipped the pistol and see if things progress well that way.
