According to some of the comments in the code when a rider gets in a vehicle it only transmits one set of data for both I think to other clients so technically it should be less laggy no? However most players will tell you that it gets much laggier when getting on a swoop bike. Anyone have any idea what the root cause of the lag when on vehicles? ensiform Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 vehicle is a whole nother entity and client and the pilot is then too. plus it does some special things to make it draw the pilot if needed or hide it if needed (which is called every frame?)
