The story so far: I have a cyber CD RW 16/12x/40x I have Nero It manages to write CD RWs no problem When I try and write a CD R it gets so far, the CD spins up and then it says something like SCSI Target Error. It Crashes! HELP ME!

Just put some clear tape over the hole in the middle, place shiny side up on table, and presto! Thorpie41 Posted December 1, 2001 Author Posted December 1, 2001 Thing is, I know my CD Rs work. On a previous install of my system they worked fine. I'm on my 4th or 5th install, hence the need for this one to work! (Please don't make me restart my computer another million times) I reckon it could have something to do with DMA. But I can't seem to find it in system properties - It used to be there. PS. I did not get my PC from a reputable dealer!
