Thanks for reading this, I have installed kotor2 as well as updated it to 2.10 and have an ati 600 card with catalyst driver 6.6. When i click the desktop icon of the game i get brought to the menu to choose from game, update, configure and so forth. When i press game to start the cd driver starts running and my mouse gets an hourglass for a sec or 2 and then nothing happens, even though in my task manager i then have a kotor2 running but no game to display. So thats my situation and from what i've some people have had similar problems and followed the advice given, but so far to no avail. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

I don't think your graphic hardware is necessary configuration.

I know a little the ATI cards, but, I don't know ATI 600. I think it is necessary to have a Radeon card.

Sorry, I know better the nVidia cards.

thanks yoda for the response, actually my graphics card is a radeon x600 series, didnt mean to put in ati. anyways, i know the card is a couple of years old but im still able to play games like oblivion, far cry, fear ect ect with no problems whatsoever. Kotor2 TSL box states x600 series will work, and i have a 3ghz processor and a 1gb of ram. im running on windows xp service pack 2. So im kinda stumped. Hope to hear back on this situation. thanks.

Sounds like either a display problem, or copy protection problem.

I know when I installed it, the default display was set to windowed (and that might becauseing trouble if your settings aren't right). In the KotOR2 installation directory, open the file "swkotor2.ini" with notepad and check for a line reading "Fullscreen=0". You'll find it in two places, once under the heading, [Display Options], and again under [Graphics Options]. You want this setting to read "Fullscreen=1". So if it's "0", that might be your problem..,
