Grey_Ghost Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 I made a Ground Company with a Build_Limit_Current_Per_Player of 1. If the Unit is lost in a land battle, or sold, it can be rebuilt right away. However, if the unit is lost in a space battle (even listed as a loss) it cannot be rebuilt. I assume the game doesn't recognize it's been lost. Would this be an engine limitation/bug, and is there anyway around it?
Darth Khasei Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 <Build_Limit_Current_Per_Player>1</Build_Limit_Current_Per_Player> <Build_Limit_Lifetime_Per_Player>-1</Build_Limit_Lifetime_Per_Player>
Grey_Ghost Posted July 9, 2006 Author Posted July 9, 2006 I tried that before, and just tried that again...nada. I believe that defaults to -1 when you don't set it anyhow. The unit is listed as a loss, and its population point is freed up, but the fact it was lost while in it's Space Transport prevents it from being rebuilt. Sell it, or lose it in a land battle and everything is a o.k. 8(
