Pauly Shaw
Do you think they will? i mean they kept MI4 a secret for ages. ------------------ All hell cannot stop.... Pauly Shaw!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAH!
Tull
Yes they will. With a high profile series like MI, news of a sequel won't be released until it's fairly near completion. It would roughly take two to three years to travel from an idea in a designers head to store shelves, and telling people about a game two years before it's released is bad... a massive wave of excitement builds up but by the time two years roll by and it's on sale we've gotten tired and/or moved on. Guybrush UK
EMI wasn't hidden (not as much as CMI was anyway)... pics were leaked of Guybrush by the catapult guy, & then it was officially announced at E3 about a week later... it wasn't THAT far into development then... ------------------ LUA Bar... Guest ZeroXcape
They weren't exactly leaked. LucasArts gave that small screen out. It, (and the pre-E3 web site,) were the first unoffical announcments of Escape. ------------------ ZeroXcape EMI.com Webmaster zeroxcape@escapemi.com
StarEye
CMI wasn't very much ahead in development even when the demo was out. You know, "we didn't really intend to use Murray in more than that one scene in the beginning, but since we got so much good response from those who played the demo, we decided to give him some more scenes in the full game". That means the development was in a very early stage, since they could put in the pretty-late-scene when Guybrush is "transformed" into a child. ------------------ If only we had as much graphic adventure games as Star Wars Games!! I quite agree. Look at what happened with Daikatana. ------------------ "That's the second biggest monkey head I've ever seen!" -Guybrush Threepwood
