Black Screen of Death

I can guess this topic and question will sound pretty redundant and annoying. I will however.. proceed.

 

My friend meets all the requirements (beats my comps stats and I play it just fine). He seems to always go black screen around (sometimes before, sometimes after) the part when Rosh opens the door with his force power.

 

It just crashes and freezes.. BSoD occurs and here we are.

 

I won't bother putting his laptops stats as it's only a year old and much better than my own.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

(PS: He did patch the game, lower settings just to see, and he tried running the game without fullscreen.)
