DWP Posted November 5, 2001 Share Posted November 5, 2001 Please tell me you have a work-around for the bug where Herman Toothrot can't recover his memory. I've bopped him in the head with the mlk bottle, and then the accordian, but he still can't remember. According to some of the newsgroups out there, this is a known bug. Their suggestion is to restore a saved game. I've gone back to where I first get to Monkey Island, and done nothing but what it takes to "wonk" Herman, but it still won't work. Is my only option to just quit an unfinished game, and never buy another Monkey Island? Or is there some hope. BTW, I've also downloaded the 1.1 patch.
