Burns
The Journeyman Project series was excellent, one of my favorites. I though Ripley's Believe it or not: The Riddle of Master Lu was pretty decent too. And the Zork series as well. Hmm, can't think of any more right off the top of my head, I'll look through my games sometime and see what I forgot. Burns
I thought Riddle of Master Lu was really pretty good, though not everyone thinks so. It had a pretty good plot, quite a bit of humor and some interesting places to visit. The puzzles were pretty good as well, they all fit and none seemed to be just a distraction to slow you down. I'd have it on my (not-so) short list of favorite adventure games. Not sure how easy it would be to find though. vmijal
Full throttle you fools, bow down and pay homage you cretins, I know full throttle is the best and should be sequeled, basically its what my ol lady says, I had an opinion once but she took it away, said i didnt know how to have one yet, but yeah full throttle rock with music and graphics, plus it was a little less cutesy and the store drew me in. of course i love tricked out bikes with fin pipes. honestly i think that was the one game that has stood out in my mind for lucasarts. since dos games

Rufio
tlj is very good, i appreciate the fact that there is an adv game out there that is not afraid to use profanity to epmhasize the life of a college aged girl who is not living in the best conditions, this game is my fav of that category just ahead of gabrial knight 3. -NFGboy ------------------ what a crappy idol! -guybrush threepwood
lhohman
I agree - The Longest Journey. The graphics were gorgeous and the story was immersive. My only complaint was you sometimes had to play through some really lengthy conversations before the game could be saved. You couldn't exit the conversation and come back to it later. Other than that, it was just plain wonderful.
Rufio
the dialogue in TLJ was extremely lengthy! but i really enjoyed it and it just made the story that much better ------------------ (¸.·'``'·.¸¸.·'`'·.¸¸.,.,.¸.·'´`'·.¸¸.·'´`'·.¸) «´¨`·.¸¸.*NewFoundGloryBoy* .¸¸.·´¨`» (`'·.¸¸.·'´`'·.¸.·''´`'`'`'·.¸¸.·'´´`'·.¸¸.·'´´) lets cancel school, what you dont know cant hurt you if nobody knows it either
Dec Ryan
Ragnar Tornquist said that he made TLJ more like a combination of a book and a game, that's why the dialogue are long. And I personally think that the long dialogue really needed since it's the first game and to build a "strong" story. My only complaint is I really need the sequel ------------------ Dec Ryan The Longest Journey Fans Forum
Rufio
well since this is the EMI forum and not the TLJ forum ill keep it brief, there are supposedly going to be 2 sequles, but probably not until it is released in the us and the sales figures come in ------------------ (¸.·'``'·.¸¸.·'`'·.¸¸.,.,.¸.·'´`'·.¸¸.·'´`'·.¸) «´¨`·.¸¸.*NewFoundGloryBoy* .¸¸.·´¨`» (`'·.¸¸.·'´`'·.¸.·''´`'`'`'·.¸¸.·'´´`'·.¸¸.·'´´) lets cancel school, what you dont know cant hurt you if nobody knows it either

Morello
I thought Loom was a little... I dunno the word. Not illogical, but close. Well I started off with Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken. I love both of those games. I love the old Sierra 'Quest' games, too. Under A Killing Moon was fun, Beneath A Steel Sky was pretty cool, as was Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender. In fact Rex Nebular was awesome! Bring back the hey-day of Adventure games I say! *sigh* ------------------ Rage. What better time than now? Any suggestions? I know about the official forum, I've been a member there, you can see my username also over there, thanks anyway though. But the reason I've made mine is because it seems too "messy" there and we couldn't talk anything other than TLJ. But in my forum as long as you're a TLJ fan or at least you have played and like it, you're welcome to talk about everything. So have you finished playing EFMI? Blue_cheese
Well, I liked a wide variety of Adventure games such as Myst, and Shivers had it's moments. I also (although some may disagree) liked the Virgin game Toonstruck. The only problem with that game is that is was such a horrible failure that it made the gaming section of Virgin go out of buisiness. The Sierra quest games were very good, and I was young when I played it, but I quite enjoyed Phantasmagoria. But with all that said, MI will always remain my favourite adv. game series. dvdwood
I also liked the Leisure Suit Larry Games. It has good humor and a excellent gameplay. ------------------ .:":.:"D-V-D":.:":.
Rufio
toonstruck was great, christopher loyd and a bunch of sarcastic animated characters all rolled into one nice package. i also really enjoyed the broken sword series (have i said that already?) and im glad that there is a broken sword 3 being planned. finally one of my greats is the adventures of willy bemish, although it was not given verymuch praise i really enjoyed that little "troublemaker" ------------------ (¸.·'``'·.¸¸.·'`'·.¸¸.,.,.¸.·'´`'·.¸¸.·'´`'·.¸) «´¨`·.¸¸.*NewFoundGloryBoy* .¸¸.·´¨`» (`'·.¸¸.·'´`'·.¸.·''´`'`'`'·.¸¸.·'´´`'·.¸¸.·'´´) stop reaching for the stars, they are REALLY REALLY far away and made of FIRE!
