Pauly Shaw
I just finished it today and all in all i thought it was an excellent game. Would love to see a sequel except its not really possible since Manny went to the other side. What did you think of it? ------------------ All hell cannot stop.... Pauly Shaw!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAH! Kid
I thought that overall, Grim was a better game than EMI was. There were harder puzzles and more of them. Also, I thought it was a better plot ------------------
BoneMaster
I would like to see sequel too. I just don't think that they are going to make one. ------------------ They don't call me the Bone Master for nothing
Guest The Feral Chicken
No. 'Grim' was a stand-alone game and, IMHO, it may actually spoil the game, as MI4 to the others in the series; you'd end up with a game more pointed to the people that haven't yet played the first. Plus, Schafer has now left the company, and everyone saw what happened to the post-Gilbert Monkey Islands. I would much rather like to see a fresh game from LucasArts than a sequel or movie oriented game; only 'Grim' in the last 5 or 6 years has not been movie based or a sequel, I think. Possibly 'The Dig' but, I'm not sure when that came out. It is unfortunate that LucasArts seems to be moving away from adventure games and to the consoles. Many of my favourite gaming moments have come from adventure games, and it is sad to see them now churning out mediocre 'Star Wars' games. I believe LucasArts should stop their money-grabbing tactics and do it like they used to; for the fans, and the fans only. How long will it take them to realise that if they make what we want, they will sell and only then will they make money. ------------------
storken
There must be an Grim Fandango 2!!!!!!! Don't care how it is as long as it's as good than the first one. ------------------ /StoRkeN
Pauly Shaw
However i wish the game told you how manny died and what he did to have to pay off a debt.

MegaMonkey
you've made me convinced already... here I come Grim Fandango! BTW is it as atmospheric as Monkey Island ( tm )? ------------------
MtBlanc
If by atmospheric you mean how well Grim Fandango immerses you in its environment and how well all the environments look and the feeling they all provide, I'd have to say Grim is incredibly atmospheric and much more than EMI or any of the other MI games for that matter. Guest The Feral Chicken
But not knowing how Manny died or what he did, IMHO, is one of the many, many beautiful things about the game. DOn't ask me to explain how, but I think if we knew, it would lose something If we did find out how/why, I think it would have to be like a jigsaw yo have to piece together, not just someone saying it all at once. Doesn't Domino say something about a Christmas Party near the start of the game, when Dom is boxing?
Pauly Shaw
Yeah, he just said at the xmas party manny got drunk and punched him. ------------------ All hell cannot stop.... Pauly Shaw!!! MWHAHAHAHAHAH!
