Kenobi9191
I was a little confused with the Target_speaker and how to put the sounds in them and how for you can hear the sounds. Anyone know a lot about them?
CalcProgrammer1
I know that key "noise" is the path to the file "sounds/<mapname>/<soundname><.wav or .mp3>" I think mp3 has to be like 56 or maybe its 58kbps... All I know is that I haven't found an mp3 encoder that works with that specific kbps, so since it is low quality you're better off just using .wav in my opinion. You can check spawnflags to make it loop or not loop, and it can be targeted by a trigger to play the sound. Note that if you have that eax or whatever the sound enhancement is called on, the sound can be heard throughout the area that it is in, but once you leave that area (by closing off an area portal, etc), the sound will stop, if it is not on, it will only play when you approach the target_speaker. MDN14
I have used 128kbps MP3 files with a 44.1KHz sample rate on a target_speaker http://jediknight2.filefront.com/file/Living_Dead_Cantina;37767
