AcerbicMaelin
Hey guys, I finally got myself a copy of KOTOR, and now I find it doesn't work. I've got a Pentium III 866 MhZ, 256 MB of RAM, an nVidia GeForce FX 5600 video card, an SB Live! Value sound card. It's running Windows XP Professional. My PC is a little old but it should still be able to run the game if I turn down the settings, since the only thing I'm short of is CPU speed and only by 133MhZ. I have the latest drivers for the vid and sound cards. After installing the game, I downloaded the patch, but the game doesn't even make it past the splash screen. The launcher pops up, I click "Game", the launcher disappears, the splash screen (with the space ship thingie) appears, and then after a few seconds an error message containing garbage appears. After a moment the splash screen disappears. When I close the error dialogue, the game is gone. Any ideas? Maelin
Anakin Skywalker
I'm not really sure if this will work but try turning off the movies and turning off V-Sync
AcerbicMaelin
I'm not really sure if this will work but try turning off the movies and turning off V-Sync No luck. It doesn't even get to a stage where it would be displaying movies, the game never even flashes to a black screen.
