Kid
I heard that Napigator at www.napigator.com is a very good napster replacement but I have yet to try it myself
brief
If I remember correctly, MP3.com used to let new artists upload their own music to their web site (and if I remember correctly, even some of the big-named recording artists have uploaded some songs that were not published in their albums to it), though it could be some other site that I'm thinking of.. Anyway, I think the biggest name in the press that is set to replace Napster was gnutella, and there's certainly no shortage of other software that does similar things as Napster.. You can take a look at a (more than likely incomplete) list here. And if you have enough space on your web site, you could always upload your own songs there... Since the songs are by your own band, you are not violating any copyright infringements, so your web service provider should not give you any hassels, though you may want to give them a heads-up about it, if they turn out to be some real ****s... ------------------ "What makes you think the people will listen to you?" BoneMaster
WinMX is a good program. NFGB: can't wait for yer demo. download Social Distortion - Don't drag me down and tell what do you think. I think it's the best punk song i've heard in a while. [This message has been edited by BoneMaster (edited March 01, 2001).]
