Remember Horizontal imbalance?

For anyone who may remember the old tv's that had horizontal and vertical controls on them (or monitors for that matter), I seem to be experiencing a similar problem. The issue is this, whenever the game returns from a movie scene, and sometime going in to a movie scene, the screen gets many horizontal lines in it, just like if you adjusted the horizontal knob on your old tv. A good example of this is when you start a new game, the cut-scenes take place and then you are lying on the bed on the endar spire. As soon as the game cuts to you on the bed, the lines are there. When I take a screen shot however, the horizontal lines are not there. I can make the horizontal lines go away by hitting Ctrl-Esc, minimizing Kotor, and then maximizing it again. The issue with that is sometimes the game will lock up and not allow me to re-maximize the window, or it won't minimize at all. Any thoughts on this?

All latest ATI drivers installed. All latest Motherboard drivers installed. All latest sound card drivers installed.

 

I re-formatted about a month and a half-ago, re-installed KOTOR and now this issue is occuring. I have tried a full uninstall/re-install of the game to no effect.

Hey, I have this exact same problem, unfortunately I don't think its all the games fault, because it happens for both KotOR1 and 2 for me.

AMD Athlon XP 2800+

512 DDR Ram

ePox EP-8RDA+

nForce2 Onboard

WinXP Pro

 

I'm using the 6.8 Cats (no problems with them with any other games I play so I don't want to upgrade), Latest nForce drivers, and motherboard drivers.

 

Oddly enough I just got a new Hard drive 2 months ago or so, so new XP install then.

 

Any helps appreciated

 

Edit: Forgot to mention mods! Kotor1 I used Shens Super Enhanced mod, skip Taris mod, Wotor, Manaan doors and Manaan fish fest mods.

For TSL I use Shens Enhanced mod, USM, Halowan Plugin, Early Lightsaber, easy swoop, and Shens Force Crush fix and Ultimate sound mod.
