The-Hitcher
Here are my system specs: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (2.2 Ghz) 1024 MB RAM Geforce 7300 LE graphics card (512MB) My computer is above the recommended specs by 200Mhz, 512 MB of Ram, and 256 MB graphic memory, yet I can only run graphic detail, anti-aliasing, screen resolution, etc. at low settings. Otherwise it gets choppy. With my specs, why is this? Does anyone know what you need to run it at fairly high settings? EDIT: Also, I have the latest DirectX and drivers for my graphics card. Guest DarthMaulUK
Although your specs are high, theres a whole host of other things to consider. a) how many programs are running in the background? Check the clock to see whats open, close down those you dont use. It will be worth checking for spyware as well. All this eats into your memory b) Power supply. With a 512 graphics card, you should have at least 750watt power unit If you can get an extra gig of ram, i would DMUK
