Niman Lightsaber form Q?

I've never recieved this form in TSL. I'm guessing it's because I don't play as a Counselor. Can any one confirm this for me, and if so are there any forms that Counselors do not recieve? This is for a mod I'm working on.

The only classes that can get the Niman form is:

 

Sentinel --> 3rd Jedi master that you learn it off

 

Jedi watchmen --> 3rd Jedi master that you learn it off

 

Sith assassin --> 3rd Jedi master that you learn it off

 

And all the forms that Jedi Consulars don't receive are (noting that other prestige classes can get some of these):

 

Ataru

Shien

Niman

Juyo

 

The forms that Consulars do learn are:

 

Shii-Cho --> lvl 7

Makashi --> lvl 10

Soresu --> lvl 12

Force Channel --> lvl 8

 

Force forms that Consulars learn are:

 

Potency --> 1st Jedi master that you learn it off

Affinity --> 2nd Jedi master that you learn it off

Mastery --> 3rd Jedi master that you learn it off

 

Though the force forms are beyond me, these may be a little wrong.

If you're a Consular/JM/SL, then you don't learn any "advanced" lightsaber forms, but only the Force Forms. A Sentinel/JW/SA is the only class that learns Niman, and Gurdian/JWM/SM learn Juyo instead of Niman.

That explains it. I never played as a Watchman/SA either.

I think I'm going to need a complete list of forms that each class can get. The idea is to make forms available for certain class/class combos that they would not normally get.

Thanks for the info. I also found the script that handles giving out the advanced forms; "a_give_form.nss" in scripts.bif. Lots of good info.

 

I've decided to give out the Niman(weaponmaster/sm) and Juyo(Watchman/sa, Master/sl) forms and make you have a prestige class before you can get them. I haven't decided if I'm going to do Force forms yet.
