putts02
So I am running a: Intel Core 2 Duo 7200 (2 gigahertz) 2 gigs ddr2 667 megahertz ram 256 MB ATI mobility Radeon X1400 with hypermemory 100 gig 7200 rpm hard drive I should be able to run the game pretty good right? The game autodetects everything to the lowest setting and occasionally freezes up. Any ideas from anyone? Could it be a problem with vista? lukeiamyourdad
Maybe it could be Vista. If it was really that, I can only suggest you ask Microsoft or LucasArts tech support on possible complication between the game and Vista. The truth is, since Vista is so recent, if that was really the cause of your troubles, I don't think many can help. Other then that, from the stats you posted, you should normally not have any troubles.

Guest DarthMaulUK
Vista is creating all sorts of problems currently. For example, i downloaded the latest updates for Vista and turn my pc off...go to bed and bingo...didnt want to boot up. After hours of reformatting, throwing things, i removed my second hard drive..this caused the problem. Vista is a mess because Microsoft havent allowed other companies time to develope updates. If you are running 64-bit versions like myself, help is hard to come by. I have adjusted a couple of games to handle vista - just tweaks. Having said all that....make sure that theres nothing running in the background. Vista uses ALOT of power and so does FoC. How mnay icons do you have open by your clock? The more of these displayed, the more memory being eaten away. Also, turn off the side bar. - Pointless for gamers! DMUK
lukeiamyourdad
If you're really tight on RAM, you can also turn off Explorer when playing games, but that requires a bit more skills.
