Kyrk
Hey, I'm a relative noob to radiant and jka mapping. Is there any way to connect two brushes that have been clipped. The reason I'm trying to do this is to keep the textures lined up along an entire wall, so if there is an easier way to do that instead, lay it on me! architect
Hi, simply select all the brushes you want to reconnect and press the merge button in the tool bar. I think it's between "csg substract" and "make hollow". Though the texture should actually stay in place you can hit the "texture lock" button as well. It is located at the left end of the toolbar. These tutorials are great help btw: http://www.richdiesal.map-craft.com/tutorials/index.html
Kyrk
Ok, I tried that but it said: Merging... Cannot add a set of brushes with a concave hull. Both the brushes are flat, not concave. So what's wrong?
architect
Hmm, strange .. i assume you haven't experimented with curves and stuff?? A screenshot of the topview would pobably help though
